About Me

KayLeigh Nycole

Visionary, Artist, & Voice

While many have known me as a writer, researcher, and educator, I'm also a woman learning to trust her creativity for the first time. 

As an academic, I've spent years studying the roots of colonial violence and the radical possibilities of peace. I've explored nonviolent resistance and come not only to learn, but to believe that art is one of the most powerful, radical tools we have against those who seek to oppress and silence. This is my way of sharing what I've learned and what I continue to learn. 

I don't create just for fun—I create with purpose. I create to educate. I create to remember. I create to uplift. I create to resist.
